How do I return or exchange an item(s) that I purchased from BarefootDreams.com?
To process a return or exchange and receive a prepaid return label please visit our Returns Center: click here
Once you have the label:
1. Pack and seal your box securely.
2. Apply the prepaid label to your package.
3. Drop it off at a nearby Carrier location.
*Please note that Barefoot Dreams is not liable for any lost, stolen, or damaged packages. Items marked Final Sale are not eligible for return or exchange.

What is your return/exchange policy?
At Barefoot Dreams, we want you to love your purchase. If you're not completely satisfied, we will refund, exchange, or replace items returned within 30 days of purchase.
Return & Exchange Guidelines:
- Gift Items: Eligible for exchange or store credit only.
- Final Sale Items: Not eligible for return or exchange.
- Embroidered Purchases: All embroidered items are Final Sale and cannot be returned or exchanged.
- Condition Requirements: Returned items must be new, unused, unaltered, free from odors or dirt, and in original packaging with company hang tags attached.
- Shipping Costs: Any shipping fees paid at checkout are non-refundableIn-Store and International Returns:
- Malibu Flagship & Camarillo Outlet: Website returns cannot be processed at these locations.
- Camarillo Outlet Purchases: Non-returnable but may be exchanged in-store within two weeks of purchase.
- International Purchases: No returns or exchanges for items purchased outside of the United States.

How does exchange order processing work?
If you choose to exchange, your new order will be placed once the returned item is received and processed at our facility. The exchange will then follow standard processing times from the date the new order is created.
Can I return or exchange swimwear?
Yes, swimwear purchased from Barefoot Dreams may be returned or exchanged within 30 days of delivery, provided it meets the following conditions:
- The item must be unworn, unwashed, and in new condition with all original tags attached.
- The hygienic liner must remain intact and attached. Returns or exchanges will not be accepted if the liner has been removed or tampered with.
- The item must be free of deodorant stains, makeup, pet hair, fragrance, or any signs of wear.
What happens if I return swimwear without the hygienic liner? For hygiene and safety reasons, we cannot accept swimwear returns or exchanges if the sanitary liner has been removed or altered in any way. If an item is sent back without the required liner:
- The return will be denied, and the item will be sent back to you.
- You may be responsible for covering the return shipping costs.
How do I initiate a swimwear return or exchange?
If your swimwear meets the above conditions, you can start your return or exchange through our Returns Portal (click here). Simply enter your order number and email address to receive your return authorization and prepaid shipping label.

What is your return/exchange policy for embroidered items?
Embroidered Items: Non-Returnable Terms and Conditions
1. Customization: Our embroidered items are customized specifically to your preferences, making them unique and personalized. Due to this, we are unable to accept returns or exchanges unless there is a manufacturing defect or an error on our part.
2. Design Approval: Prior to placing the order, please carefully review the information to be embroidered. It is your responsibility to carefully check accuracy in spelling, and any other specifications. Once processed, changes cannot be made, and returns will not be accepted based on design elements.
3. Quality Control: We take great care in ensuring the quality of our embroidered items. However, if you believe there is a manufacturing defect, please contact us within 5 days of receiving your order. We may request photographic evidence of the issue for assessment.
4. Refunds and Replacements: In the event of a manufacturing defect or an error on our part, we will offer a replacement item or issue a refund, depending on the circumstances. Please contact us at help@barefootdreams.com
What is your holiday gift return/exchange policy?
For items purchased during the holidays (between November 1st and December 25th), we extend the return/exchange period until January 31st of the following calendar year.
Important Notes:
- Final Sale items: remain ineligible for return or exchange.
- Embroidered Purchases: All embroidered items remain Final Sale and cannot be returned or exchanged.
- Personalized or Monogrammed Products: Cannot be returned or exchanged.
- Website returns cannot be processed at the Malibu Flagship Store or Camarillo Outlet Store.
- No returns or exchanges will be offered for international purchases.

How will I know when you have received my return or exchange?
You will receive an email confirmation when your return or exchange is processed. Refunds are credited back to the original payment method within 10-14 business days of processing the return. Please note that processing times may take up to 30 business days during peak periods.
Important Notes:
- The time it takes for the refund to appear on your statement depends on your financial institution.
- If your return does not meet our Return & Exchange Policy requirements, the item(s) will be sent back to you, and additional shipping charges will apply.
- Shipping costs paid at checkout will not be refunded when returning items.

- Gift return requests (to the requester, not the original purchaser)

How can I return or exchange an item not purchased from BarefootDreams.com?
If your item was not purchased directly from BarefootDreams.com, please contact the retailer where you made the purchase. The return or exchange will be handled according to that retailer’s policies and at their discretion.
How do I exchange a gift purchased from BarefootDreams.com?

If the item came with an order number starting with BFD_XXXXXX on the packing slip, it was purchased from BarefootDreams.com. In that case, you can visit our Gift Return Center to process a return or exchange, provided the item is within our return window.
The original purchaser will not be notified when using our Gift Returns Center.
What should I do if I want to return/exchange a gifted Barefoot Dreams item but don't know where it was purchased from?
If you do not have an order number or are unsure where the item was purchased, please contact our customer care team at help@barefootdreams.com. Be sure to provide the first and last name of the original purchaser or giftee so we can assist you. Please allow 3 business days for a response.

How do I return or exchange an item(s) that I purchased from BarefootDreams.com online outlet store?
BarefootDreams.com online outlet items can be returned/exchanged within 30 days of purchase so long as they are not on Final Sale; final sale items will be noted in the product description and will have a tag on the top right corner of the images after clicking on the item.

Once your return has been received by our warehouse, our team will process your request.
