Founded in 1994, Annette Cook created a line of children's products in an array of calming colors that soothed the senses, gathering inspiration from her three sons, Grayson, Chase and Preston. She used the softest flannels, satins, and knits as the foundation of the brand. In 2012, Annette lost her courageous battle with cancer. Determined to continue her legacy, her husband, Stan, built Barefoot Dreams into the brand it is today.
Born in Malibu, Barefoot Dreams has become the premier destination for cozy blankets, loungewear and apparel for the whole family over the last 30 years. Our collection of ultra-soft blankets and throws, pillows, robes, loungewear, apparel, candles, and accessories, as well as licensed Disney products, for everyone from adults to babies and pets, can be found at 5-star resorts and spas, major department stores, and upscale boutiques around the world.
Care, comfort, and connection have always been central to Barefoot Dreams. Those values remain at the heart of the brand and continue to guide us today through ongoing philanthropic partnerships and community support initiatives.
Created with the spirit of comfort and giving in mind, Covered in Prayer® is a collection of ultra-plush blankets designed to offer warmth, encouragement, and care. A portion of proceeds from every piece supports The WunderGlo Foundation, helping fund doctors and researchers working toward a cure for colon cancer.

In the summer of 2020, we opened our first brick-and-mortar flagship store in Malibu, CA. Inspired by the warmth and casual elegance of the local community who has supported us, we created a warm and welcoming destination that is rooted in nature for locals and visitors alike. In 2021, we expanded into a second retail location in Malibu.
